Nocturnes du MAC — SAT Dome Performance
Earlier this year, I created a series of 360° immersive visuals for the SAT dome as part of Nocturnes du MAC, presented by the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art. Designed as live visual support for DJ Jordan Gardner, the work brought an audioreactive, atmospheric dimension to the performance.
In just two weeks leading up to the event, I produced 15 unique dome clips, each crafted to loop seamlessly while carrying its own energy and aesthetic. Using Blender as my primary tool, I generated 3D looping animations with a focus on motion, texture, and spatial immersion. These were then integrated into Resolume, where I performed the set live, applying audioreactive effects to align visuals dynamically with Gardner’s sound.
The quick turnaround encouraged a mix of careful planning and on-the-fly experimentation, allowing me to explore my visual language of organic textures and urban grit in a dome-scale, live setting. The result was a dreamlike but high-energy visual journey that amplified the music and immersed the audience within the dome.
